Title: Front Brake Pad Replacement 2016 DSR
Post by: ESokoloff on October 19, 2017, 05:25:09 PM
Any recommendations?

Will theses fit & does anyone have feedback?

I heard that Sintered &/or HH are to be avoided.
True?

TIA.

Those will fit. 209 is the shape/size and the suffix denotes the pad material. HH sintered, X carbon etc.  EBC are some of the best pads out there IMO. Don't know where you heard not to run sintered or why but I do.

Thanks for the confirmation.
I've read that sintered pads are more susceptible to causing noise.

My 15FX came with sintered/metallic pads and they were incredibly, horribly noisy when wet. I replaced them with organic (Kevlar). Very quiet and not "grabby". The sintered probably stop quicker, but I'm ok with that.
