Hi,
one month ago I bought an FXS 16 from a dealer, a demo model. I noticed that one of the H3 headlights was broken and replaced it. During replacement, while testing the lights with the light carrier screwed off, both H3s stopped working and I got an error 25 on the display (Contactor Open Warning).
After reassembly the problem persists, sometimes I see error 49 briefly (Contactor Open Disable).
Also I see other strange errors and warnings in the log (but not the ones mentioned), decoded with zero_log_parser.py. Excerpt:

Is anything wrong with the bike? I have the suspicion that it had an accident, although the dealer didn't say a word about this.
Edit: Got the BMS blinking code wrong, removed that passage.

Good job doing your homework on this. I think you'd better find out from that dealer what happened to that bike. Maybe Zero can say, since they'd know its history from the VIN presumably.
(Speculating) It looks like there's a ground fault in there somewhere. Maybe the 12V DC-DC converter needs to be replaced, since this started with 12V bulb issues.

Do all the other lights work? Turn signals? Tail light? Dash light?

Do you have a Fluke or other meter?
Have you checked the supply and fuses?
Have you checked continuity to ground from the socket.

If you have the removable batteries, pop the rail off and pull the front battery. I have found it easiest to stand on left side of bike facing backwards, take your right hand and push the battery with your palm. This should let you see the fuses. Check to see if they are loose or blown. My FX had a couple loose ones but I was popping wheelies for the first 500 miles!
