hi all
couldnt resit to throw a comment into the US of A presidential race. not sure if I call the democracy at work or so... but that is another discussion.
for a change wired has good written thing about EVs - this time Tesla.

I caught that too. I think he missed on that point. So far Tesla is still in business and to my knowledge the government hasn't lost any money on that investment.
At least he didn't mention Zero, who I believe has picked up a few government grants. And so far both Zero and Tesla seem to be doing a great job of advancing EV technology in their respective areas, as well as employing and training a new crop of specialized factory workers, so I think the taxpayers are getting their money's worth. :)

Unfortunate. Tesla and Solyndra aren't in the same league. I think Mitt needs to go drive one :)
If we want to wean ourselves off foreign oil, EVs are one of the ways we do it.
