Here are the numbers for more complete data on the power requirement to charge the S/DS battery. I now have a more accurate digital meter and it also gives me more data. I was pleased to see the PF at 1. This is more agreeable to portable generators than a low PF would be.
Power Factor = 1.0
Voltage at time of measurement = 117.6 v
Power = 1068 w (this rose to 1072 w after awhile, probably due to heat losses).
Volt Amps = 1068 va
Current = 9.08 a
Kilowatt hours to recharge after 4.5 miles = 0.64 kwh
