I suppose the FXE and the FXS are pretty similar (although I preferred the look of the FXS) but I've only just noticed that the FXS has now disappeared from Zero's website. It must have happened along with the updated S, DS, and DSR.

Fred's profile shows he is in the UK. The UK Zero website has dropped the FXS.

I hadn't thought that it might just be the UK market where they've dropped the FXS. I've update the title of the thread.

Seems at the last count there are only 6 of them in the UK... not really surprising given the price and demographics here.
<edit> ah no, the DVLA stats are all screwed up. There could be as many as 55 of them currently registered. Still ... not big numbers. There's 36 SR/Fs and 35 SR/Ses.
Cas :)

Also interesting that the SR is dropped from the UK site too. I wonder if Zero is going to deplete the rest of it's inventory and follow the same for the US.
-
The SR and FXS are also gone from the German site or any other European site (Spain, Italy, France, etc.)
-
The SR sells better than the S in the US, so probably not.

Same in France. This is a pity - i prefer the FXS look and it is cheaper too.
-
The FXS was only cheaper with one battery, I think.

I don't remember what the FXS cost but I assume it was identical to the FX, which is £270 cheaper than the FXE. Not a huge amount but still. Also on the topic of the modular battery you can't get that with the FXE so that's another downside.
-
I thought the FXS used a better motor than the FX?

They all use the 75-5. The modular versions have a lower power output when using a single battery just like how the 14.4 S/DS is like 59hp compared to 44hp from the 7.2 (however torque is identical).
