So I recently acquired an IXXAT 1.5, the non galvanically isolated version and I am looking to do some simple changes to my sevcon controller. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the DVT software that works with these older USB to CAN adapters?
I've tried searching for the mythical dropbox with no luck.

Hey ScootCoupe,
Can I ask what do you want to change? Just curious;)

Yeah I think the throttle mapping got messed up on my bike when the dealer put a new 14.4 battery in my 2014 bike. Something about Zero having to write some custom software to get the can bus messages to talk correctly. As it sits, I think the minimum torque setting of the sevcon is too high so it's impossible to do 30mph. Basically in a neighborhood you have to get on and off of the throttle. I think the throttle curve also got set to linear instead of curved and the neutral band is waay too high. You have to twist the throttle a good halfway before it starts to move.
Basically
Lower Neutral zone throttle setpoint
Change throttle profile to curve from linear
Minimum output torque value reduced if it exists.
Nothing performance oriented, just improving driveability.

Have you tested the throttle to make sure the pot is still sending smooth in the right range?

@centra12
Dear Centra12
I would love to have a copy of it
-
And where should I upload or send them?
-
I made a shared folder. Where anyone with the link can edit. so please do not abuse it.
It will be valid for a week

And where should I upload or send them?
I would also love a copy. Could you upload it to my ftp server? If so I will PM you login details. Could then make it available to others in this thread.

Good morning!
Im new to this forum, but recently acquired a 2014 zero s minus the battery for an incredible deal. I wanted to possibly use this on another build as a few things are missing like the key switch, kickstand switch and possibly a few other small, but assuming big things. I have removed the wiring harness, motor, dc to dc reducer, controller, throttle, on/off switch and what Im assuming to be the the bms. Its looks to be roughly 3"x 7"(without putting a tape on it) black box. Is there any info or can anyone assist me in getting this operational? Thanks and I look forward to any and all responses!

Hey,
Sure! Look for the "unofficial zero manual", there is all the information;)

Hi! I'm new to this forum, so perhaps my question has already been answered elsewhere.
I am currently working on an electrical machine for tomato crops, and I need to reprogram my SEVCON G4 controller. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find the necessary software anywhere, and to make matters worse, the SEVCON website is no longer available.
Could someone please assist me with this issue by providing a download link for the software? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you very much in advance!
