Hi,
I tried searching but it seems this hasn't been discussed since around 2018. I have a Tesla wall connector (gen 2 I think). I tried the Lectron Tesla -> J1772 adapter, but it wouldn't charge. Red blinking light comes on in the motorcycle dash, and solid red light on the wall connector.
Lectron support suggested plugging into the adapter to the wall connector, and waiting 30 seconds before plugging into the 'car', but that made no difference either.

Tesla Tap is working great for me on a black signature edition Gen 2 Tesla Charger at home. 2020 SR/S with 6kW (for now) chargers. Waiting ~30 seconds after plugging the adapter into the EVSE is vital.

I know they say wait 30 seconds but often that is NOT nearly enough time.
Try waiting 3 minutes or more without connecting the adapter to anything other than the Tesla Wall Connector. Often, 30 seconds is not enough and if you try to connect to the bike too soon, you have to un-power the wall connector for a few seconds and start the 3 minutes all over again.
Waiting extra long before connecting the bike is the best way. You can wait MUCH longer, but don't wait shorter than around three minutes.

I've written a review of my experience using the Tesla Tap Mini:

Of course the Tesla Tap will not work on a DC charger that you were trying to use. The Tesla Tap will only work on AC, such as a Tesla Wall Connector or a Tesla Destination station.
Note that I did NOT use the word "charger" on those simple AC supplies. The AC charger is in the bike.
The DC chargers (CCS, ChaDeMo, Tesla Super) go direct to your battery, just as does the output of the charger in your bike.

Well that's a first, hadn't seen anyone before lock their helmet using the charge cable. Nice write-up.
edit: ... maybe I'm mistaken. Anyway.
