Title: Lean type 2 charge cable?
Post by: reini on May 16, 2020, 02:02:55 PM
In anticipation of my SS9, I'm currently searching for a small and light type 2 (Mennekes) charge cable which is necessary for most of our public chargers in Austria. Since we only have single phase charging on the Energica, I was thinking about buying a Charge Amps BEAM: https://charge-amps.com/products/charging-cables/beam/

Does anyone of you have experience with this cable or maybe knows a smaller and lighter one I could use?

Hi,

I have the Charge Amps Beam cable. It was supplied with the bikes by the Dutch Energica dealer for some time. I like the cable; the angled connectors make it a very compact cable to stow away while traveling. The type of 'rubber' used is also OK.

Cool, thanks! I'm going to order one then as well!

The cable came yesterday. Damn that's small compared to "normal" Type 2 cables! Now back to patiently waiting for the bike to arrive :)
