Missing SoC's numbers !
« on: August 16, 2019, 02:13:07 PM »

Hello guys,

I'd like to introduce a challenge for all SR/F owners (or test-drivers).

The first one able to upload a picture of the dashboard with exactly 70% remaining SoC wins !  ::) ;D

What is this all about?
Is yours skipping over the 70% SoC?

I think I have seen mine at 70% but wouldn't bet the farm on it.
But I'll be watching now and will take a pic if and when it gets there.

I've known for years that my 2014 SR will never display 81%. I've watched it jump from 82 directly to 80. I'm not sure about 91, but I think that gets skipped, too. I do know that I have seen 71%.

The DSR skipped every 20 (81, 61, 41, 21).  I've not been paying attention on the SR/F yet, too busy holding on!

Seems like all models before SR/F never had this five numbers (don't forget the 1 ; 21 ; 41 ; 61 ; 81).

On the SR/F the only missing one i found for now is the 70...

I'd love to have an explanation for that, as it must be a reason !

I'm ashamed to say, I never got the bike to 1 (I've never been below 10%).

The DSR skipped every 20 (81, 61, 41, 21).

Interesting. That would happen if the SOC math needs to scale an integer parameter in the range (0, 94) to a percentage.

for i in range(95): print(i * 100 / 95 + 2)

I never knew about the 5 numbers I know for sure mine skips 41 and 61 nearly every ride, will have to look over some of my fxs ride videos and check for the others.

I just come back from a ride and i discovered 3 new missing numbers :p

So the winnings are, for now, the 9%, the 24%, the 39% and the 70%

Hey Zero, is there something to win ? Is it a kind of a game or just problem with maths ?
