After-market triple clamp?
« on: August 31, 2018, 08:00:37 AM »

Has anyone tried one?  I need to get a clamp that has the bolt brackets facing rearwards, instead of frontwards (like the stock clamp for the 2013), since I need to install clip-on handlebars with risers (the risers interfere with the bolt brackets).

Thanks in advance.

After this morning's ride, I see that my problem is not the handlebars (so forget about the triple clamp stuff), but the brake lever.  I have small hands, so the reach puts pressure on my thumb, giving it a sprain.  Anyone know of any brake lever that would fit, and would allow less of a reach?

I think I've solved the main problem (that of thumb sprain).  I've rotated the clubman handlebar, so the pressure across my palms are equalized from thumb side to outer side.  I'd still be looking for a brake lever that's bent in more toward the grip though, in case anyone knows of a suitable replacement.
