Sprocket Sizing
« on: November 03, 2017, 09:24:10 PM »

I have a 2010 Zero S that I have stripped down and am putting the guts into a 2010 Triumph America Frame. I am using the Agni 95R motor that the Zero had, and all other parts. I have just finished fabricating a motor mount which fits perfectly under the seat of the triumph. Now I need to figure out sprocket sizes though and this is where I need your help...

Weight (approximate): Zero - 280lbs / Triumph once all together 500lbs?

Tire Size: Zero - 130 / Triumph 170 (taller)

Optimum Speed: 80-85km/h (50mph) continuous

Zero/Agni stock sprocket/chain combo: 16T/53T/420

I know its a heavier bike but I want to keep the chain size small (this is simply a proof of concept not an every day bike) so keeping it 420 gauge is fine with me. If anyone has any experience with this or knows a good conversion for all of the factors please chime in.

Thanks all!
