BMW C-Evolution scooter arriving in California soon
« on: August 01, 2017, 09:09:04 PM »

Better late than never.  It is coming to a California BMW dealer near you.  Pretty decent price for an electric vehicle, especially one made and supported by BMW. The performance is not bad, but not quite comparable with Zero's top models:  http://blog.motorcycle.com/2017/07/31/manufacturers/bmw/2017-bmw-c-evolution-electric-scooter-launching-california/

The article says it has an electrically adjusted windscreen and a CVT.  I didn't note EITHER of those on the example I rode at Americade this past June.  I think that's a mistake in the article.  Not surprising as they've misrepresented the standard BMW scooters in the past.  My notes and review of the scooter I rode is here in the forums if you're interested.

I suspect that the author of that blog might have mixed up the electric version with the IC version of BMW's scooter when it comes to standard features.  ???
