did the math on 75wh/mile and at 130 miles I was right around reserve capacity - regular use is 10kwh on the 2017 right?

The ZF13 nominal capacity is 11.4kWh.

Cool vinyl, I've been looking at some electrolumenscent panels that can be cut into interesting shapes for the battery area. Also saw some Black vinyl that is retroreflective, and that just sounds like it would look So cool as trim on a black bike...

I've considered offering a laser-cut kit for the battery, wheels and stripes up the tail but interest seemed small.  Black is an option I think would look cool for the affect on photos and when hit by headlights.  I think white would also be a cool look.  I have green on my black 2014 S and I really like it too.  So many different combinations that would look sweet.

They can be printed on too which offers some interesting possibilities....could print battery info on it to make it look like an RC hobby pack....could print to make it look like a stack of Duracell batteries.  Could also laser-cut sections out of the vinyl on the battery to write stuff like 'Electric' or to make shapes like a warning sign for electricity (lightning bolt with a triangle around it).  That's part of the challenge of a kit....everyone would want something different and unique.

My ZF13 reports 12.064kW in the app

My ZF13 also reports 12.064kWh in the app when at 100% (116V....sometimes the bike can be at 115V or even 114V and it will show 100% SOC in which case the app will show less than 12.064kWh).  Zero lists 11.4kWh as the nominal capacity in the specs.  When the bike hit's 0% SOC at about 95-96V the app doesn't always show 0kWh.

Here is some data I collected and calculations I made using the data.  One thing this data shows is that I do in fact use over 12kWh to fully charge the bike from 0% SOC (keep in mind there are some losses to heat so not all of the energy used during charging is stored in the battery).

*Note - The 'Energy Used' column is calculated based on miles traveled and the TRIP AV Wh/mi on the display

Yup!

The display for the rearview camera is angled for best viewing by the rider so the view for my GoPro isn't ideal.  It doesn't allow me to get rid of mirrors but it let's me get away with only a single bar end mirror on my right side and it has 170 deg viewing angle so I can see more than with mirrors.  Mirror is good for seeing far and when display is washed out from headlights or the sun or if the camera is covered in dirt or water....rearview is good for everything else....I especially like that when I get in a tuck and can't really see anything out of my mirrors I can still see what's coming up behind me in the rearview camera.

Wow, where does one get crazy glowing vinyl like that?

It could save a life if the bike blacks out on a ride at night, something which has happened to me several times in the last year on my long commute home.

Mrwilson blatantly ripped the idea off from me; I had all my bodywork wrapped in purple retroreflective vinyl. It's okay, I still love him. ;D

Didn't last very long for me. I expect it will last better on just the battery box where it's a bit recessed. Mine started wearing out wherever anything touched it routinely. I liked it while it lasted, though.
