First real Track Day on the new '16 FXS

wasn't sure what to expect but knew i'd have fun. track was a lot different than i had imagined. it hosted the 2015 AMA SuperMoto Championships and is a very racy track. very odd corners that just beg for passing no matter what line the guy takes. and straights that are longer than you think. i hit 69 mph flying into turn 1 that reminded me why i ride bikes.  ;D

bike did good. was a little bummed at the temps and how quickly i hit max temps.  that that obviously range, but for my first time on the track using non-slicks i did respectable. the track let me plug in with my speed charger and on-board every time i came off track so i think with 2 chargers, running 1 battery in the bike, i could race almost all day.



working on processing the other sessions of the day. i do get faster...

first REAL day. 5 racers including me, 2 serious AMA. bike and i did great but learned many things about the limits of the bike and battery. bummer they peeled off each lap for the dirt. the final session we did asphalt only but i had 34% SOC, and my Gopro died, so it wasn't remarkable.  ::)

fastest lap of the day was almost 3 sec faster than last weekend.

1.09.392sec
