...Firmware: um, how do I find this? Had it serviced three weeks ago, so it's recent ...

There's another new version of the app available in the Android play store. Lists compatibility with 2018 bikes as one update. [emoji41]

Also, the app will apparently notify you if a new firmware version is available for your bike (curious to see if that's just for MY17+ that can update with the app).  I literally just had my 2017 SR at the dealership today having new tires put on and they updated firmware too (apparently MBB and BMS) so I can't test this feature on that bike.  I will see if it tells me my 2014 S needs new FW when I get home tonight.

No indication of adding voltage to riding screen [emoji22]

I just installed t too, but haven't had a chance to see if it FINALLY fixes the "Time left to charge" number that hasn't worked in the past SEVERAL updates...

[Later]  SUCCESS!!  It FINALLY shows the "Time to Charge" value again.  Hallelujah!

Interesting!.. so they talk about the 2018 bikes? If so then just like Jason Hugues did when hacking his Tesla and found the 100kWh battery upgrade coming on new models.., we could maybe find some clue on the 2018 features included in the apps code? that would give us a taste of the 2018 bikes!  ;)

Still no fix in the drive setup parameters, they automatically default to 100% after setting, keep the older version if you have it, although it does connect easier

For those who tried it, do you noticed if they still display kWh instead of Wh for the  average watt-hours per km, cost per km?

On mine ( old version ) for my 2017, they display that the units is in kWh/km.. witch would mean my zero consume 1000 time more energy :P.. lol

On my 2017 DS, the app now says that my firmware is out of date, and I need to go see my dealer. Before the new app, I had the newest firmware. Makes me wonder if the app is a little buggy. I thought I was supposed to be able to update FW with the app?

Updated to new app version and connected to my 2016 FXS. It does show a time left to charge, but disagrees with the dashboard indication. The one on the app jumped around quite a bit and was about 30% higher in the short time that I observed it. Also, I know my firmware is not the latest, but the app didn't tell me, or at least it was not obvious.

Exactly the same here. To me it seems like the app and the dash are relying on two different current sensors. The dash gets accurate current/remaining time directly from the BMS via CAN, whereas the App is getting a value from the MBB which is quite off the real value. My FXS is reporting just 3-4 amps when charging, but the real value needs to be around 6-7 amps.

My app display and the display on my 2014S both read exactly the same when it comes to all values that both displays show. (I continue to use the original early-2014 firmware, but have a current updated cell-phone app - which is the only thing I use my phone for, other than making the occasional call when I don't have access to my home landline.)

...

I'm told it also addresses the unable-to-change-custom-settings (just 2014 bikes?) and unable-to-send-bms-logs issues.

https://zeromanual.com/index.php/Official_Mobile_Application#Unable_to_Customize_Drive_Mode

Have not yet tested those claims.
