Simple one: Shock top-mount bolt size, anyone?
« on: September 29, 2016, 06:16:38 AM »

Can get a 5/8 socket in there, but that's not the right size of course. And metrics aren't fitting past 14mm... What are you guys using to get the radar shock off?

I believe that I used a thin walled ( good quality ) 15 mm to get mine off.

You don't state what vehicle you're trying to work on. It appears from your past post that you're referring to a 2013 Zero FX.

I don't imagine that the bolt would be different between models.
Frame and spacing might be, but, bolt should be the same.

+1 on the good quality 15mm socket (OEM bolt, '14 FX).

You might want to check out this thread before you start, in case there's anything you may find helpful.
