heated handle oxford
« on: August 28, 2016, 09:32:08 PM »

Hello everyone, I am laurent de France bike with zero S 13kw (2016) that happiness with this bike. For winter I decided to install heated handle oxford but without using the converter due to warranty! I make a li-ion pack (18650 Panasonic) in 4S2P (about 14 Volts 7AH) allowing me to use the heated grips to 6 hours of use around with my little pack. someone it makes you the same thing?

I had heated Oxford grips on my 1979 BMW R65.  I really liked them for 0 degree celsius mornings in Alberta.  However, I did add a little hidden switch in case a curious child came by and wanted to play with the switches (and drain my battery).

At some point, I may add them to my Zero.  However, the Zero already confers an advantage in cold weather in that I can wear mitts (versus gloves) in cold weather, and I don't have to be continually mucking around with a clutch lever.
