Trail tail with a 2016 DSR
« on: April 28, 2016, 01:14:20 PM »

Thought I would share my new acquisition which so far seems to work pretty good.  133L should be more than enough room I hope :-D  Handles really good but I can certainly feel the added weight like... I have a trailer :-P

Looks good! Plenty enough room for a Super Charger in the top case now ;)

Just curious as to the attachment points on the swingarm, and also the pivot knuckle, it looks pretty cool, how does it affect range? I like the idea and wouldn't mind seeing a few closeup pictures of the key components if you have a chance

I'll see if I can take a few photos this weekend.  Range wise, I haven't thoroughly tested it but seems to knock it back about 20%.  It's also made of steel, so it really would be better with an aluminum frame.

Thanks electriczen, that looks pretty simple and easy to transfer to any hollow axle bike, I was on the website and I see it's made in Canada, nice!

Very nice.  Any idea how much weight you can put on it?  Is it 50/50 on the TrailTail wheel and rear wheel of the Zero?
