QuiQ Behavior
« on: April 10, 2016, 05:49:41 PM »

I seem to be seeing behavior with my QuiQ (I have 1) that does not quite match up with the users manual for my DSR.  The manual states that it should start with high current and "work its way down".  I don't see this behavior.  It seems to stay at full current with nothing on the display other than AC and IIIII current until charging is complete.  It does shut off when I hit 100%.

Knowing Lithium Ion batters can be less than forgiving with incorrect charging, I want to make sure others see similar behavior.

I follow the instructions, first plug in the internal charger and wait for the contactor, then connect the QuiQ to the charge connector, and then plug it in.

Any others seeing anything similar?

I have not watched it charge, but notice it stops charging before the onboard charger has finished. Can't remember if it's around 90% or 95%.
