I had a chance to talk to Todd Kollin this weekend at eGrandPrix. Among other things he explained that they are bringing out a $4500 version of the GPR-S that will be sold under the Native Cycles name. http://nativecycles.com/
The entry-level model starts at $4500 and can cover about 25 miles with the 2.5-kilowatt-hour lead-acid battery. With 15 hp, the standard bike is good for about 50 mph. Buyers can increase the speed and range with a 3-kwh lithium-ion battery and 50-hp motor. This is the same company that built the Isle of Man winning electric racer. So far, it has sold 50 of the production versions.http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive/reader_rides/4326059.html?page=3
So far they have sold 50. Wonder if they mean 50 GPR-S in general? Last weekend was the first I heard of the $4500 version. Did you all know about it?
