Listen up, ladies and gentlemen! Our fugitive has been on the run for 400 minutes. Average speed on twisty turning roads is 100 mph and with average rider weight on a full charge, barring breakdowns and recalls gives us a radius of 38 miles! What I want out of each and every one of you is a hard target search of every charging station, private plugshare, RV park, solar array, wind farm and hydroelectric dam in that area. Radius doubles every 8-10 hours unless we miss a quick charge station! Our fugitive's name is Dr. Richard Kimble. Go get him.

Cycle World says it's been recovered with damaged bodywork and no rear wheel.

The guy says he was going to break it down and sell the parts (I guess to all the other owners of one-off prototype electric racing bikes that don't care where their parts come from)

No one ever said that crooks were the smartest tools in the shed.     I saw photos of the guys that sole the bike on Ted's blog and they sure look guilty to me.

We have a contactor built in to the battery modules for safety - I.e. If the bike is off, there is no exposure to the 400Vdc battery bus voltage. Given his disassembly techniques, he's lucky that safety circuit is there or he might have ended up in the hospital or worse...

Worse? ZZZZAAAP!!

I guess that'd mean we'd be "short" a bike thief?
