Scorpio Ride on Zero FX?
« on: July 09, 2015, 05:44:29 PM »

A little late to the party I came across the Scorpio Ride system yesterday. Looks the core system plugs into the OBD port with additional battery leads.

I'm mostly interested in it for ride tracking but also for the tire pressure monitoring. By chance anyone hooked one of these up to their Zero? And on that note - any reason I won't be able to convert a sumitomo connection to a pair of direct leads?

thanks!

12V power will work the same as for gas bikes (should power their GPS and accelerometers), but the Zero ODB port interface does not share much with a BMW or Triumph/etc. bike. It's curious that there's not some compatibility list provided on Scorpio's website; maybe ODB compatibility doesn't really matter.
