It looks like Mugen may have the "inside track" at the IOM right now. Apparently they are about 10 mph faster than Victory in qualifying:

So Honda has been flexing its muscles at the IOM TT for 2 years now.  When are they going to make a production bike?

I'm sure that when Honda do come to market with an electric bike it'll be worth the wait. :-)

I worry however that the Victory/Brammo is designed to be a short course bike, its going to struggle a wee bit on the mountain, still hopefully it'll give the Shindens a run for their money. Especially as the Sariola SP7 has not been posting the sort of times I hoped it would.

However Guy Martin is riding for Victory after Will Dunlop was injured. Martins a better rider than Dunlop.

Sadly though not only are the Shidens good bikes, they have McGuiness and Anstey piloting them... what you really need on the other Victory is Hutchy.

McGuiness wins it at 18:58.743 ; 119.279 mph...

111.62 mph for the Victory bike, that's really respectable.

Hahaha! McGuiness apparently was slower to the first split than Anstey because he had his bike effectively on Eco mode... He flipped it over to full power for the rest of the race.
