They did a really poor job on the front fender, but the rest of it is nice.

I noticed the big departure on replicating the front fender as well.
However the fully shrouded effect of the original "doesn't call my attention" either.
Overall, I like it, and am glad to see the proliferation of electric propulsion in all of the different forms that are evolving.

Eh, I found it quite jarring as it immediately leaps out at you. It looks like they sent Joe down the road to the discount dirtbike shop for the cheapest thing he could find. It looks like they kinda ran out of money at the end to finish the job. Those sorts of fenders were pretty much the style of that era. It's like a '50s Cadillac without tailfins.

Plus more importantly, if they skimp on something that visible, I usually find they skimp on more important stuff as well.

I wanted a CB1100 until I went to bike week and discovered they only put one pipe on it, when all the '80s Hondas had dual exhausts. It was kind of not amusing that all the marketing photos only showed one view of the bike. At least the next year dual exhaust (and ABS) was finally available.
