Good news.  It looks like Zero has met their initial 2015 model production schedule.  I wonder what the new and advanced tools are that they are using to build the new bikes?  When I visited their factory two years ago, it looked like nothing but normal hand tools were being used in the assembly process, the sort that you would have in your garage.  It would be kind of cool if Zero would post some photos of the assembly process to show us how the bikes are manufactured.  8)

Hey Richard, you live in that area. Why don't you grab your camera, do the factory tour and give the rest of us a show? I can't believe they'd turn down some free publicity from a loyal Zero rider.

That would be totally cool to see the production line!

I love this shot they sent along, too (speaking purely as a photographer  ;D):

So... curios question... I know Zero fully assembles the bikes for dynoing and other Q/A tests. Do they then partially disassemble them for crating, or do they ship them fully assembled?

I've seen the "Ultimate Factories" episode on Ducati and the "How It's Made" on the Goldwing. They were fascinating and I'd love to see the EV equivalent. Watching someone put together most of the 6-cylinder 'Wing engine in less than two minutes made my eyes bug out.

My shop is located about 90 miles (as the road turns) from the factory.  The ones that I have seen delivered arrive on a trailer fully assembled.

I picked up my preordered 2015 FX on the 2nd. It arrived at the dealership the day before Thanksgiving but I couldn't make the trek to pick it up until the 2nd. It appears to be the first one off the production line with the last two digits of the serial number = 00. I waited for the 2015 model to get the better suspension and it is definitely improved from last year. It doesn't feel bouncy. The dampening is much better. I can't wait to go play on it...

Anyone get one of the 2015 S bikes yet? I'm really curious how the brakes are compared to the 2014 and just a general impression overall would be great!

I expected mine by now but shipping was delayed a few days.
