Author Topic: Where are the fuses for standard and quick charge port on 2014 (non-FX) models  (Read 2966 times)

Can someone tell me where the fuse is for the quick charge cable. I believe it's 30A but wanted to  check the fuse details for myself. Also, I can't find the standard charger fuse either.

For the 2012 and previous model it is on the back of the battery , on the rear cover  and under the seat there is 4 fuses with a clear cap on them

Read your user manual you will find that detail ;)

Unfortunately the owner's manual does not match my Zero SR. The manual shows 4 fuses at the back of the battery box when there are only 2 on the back of my SR battery pack.

Any other suggestions - I honestly can't find the regular charger or quick charger fuses.

Found the fuse - it is in-line with the cables coming from the onboard and fast chargers and is a single 100A fuse.

Assume the higher combined rating (used to be 20A onboard and 30A fast charger) is to support Chademo fast charging at 100A.

Does anybody know if this 100 Amp fuse exists also on a Zero S 2013?
If so this would be a great place to connect a Charger up to 10 kw.

It's definitely 30A on the 2013 models. The official owner's manual says that 2014 has a 100A fuse, but I have heard otherwise and maybe seen otherwise.

Definitely 100A in line fuse on my 2014DS, at the back of the battery. Today I added a second input circuit with a 100A breaker which fits nicely behind the Frunk. I cut a hole so I could reset it with my finger. Terminates under the seat, so now I have 200A spread across 2 circuits.

That's one hell of a hack! What are you up to and can you share a howto guide?

FWIW I have a "breaker fuse" on my 12V accessory circuit since I don't want a fault there ruining a road trip.
