I believe there is communication between the BMS and the charger, would not be surprised if it was CAN.

pre-2011 is 14s lithium = up to 58.8V
2012 is 18s lithium = up to 75.6V
2013-2014 is 28s lithium = up to 117.6V

I hope I can test it this weekend.

Unfortunately I have only my 2012 Delta-q but I will use two meanwells on top to have 116V. (plus diodes and protection)

I don't believe the Delta-q use CAN. As you see from my last post both are " CAN-Capable : No",
only on-board and  CHAdeMO are " CAN-Capable : Yes"

It might be that no charge current will change the charge mode to its "full/Stop" modes.

Take care don't damage your bike!

Do you have a Delta-q,

would be nice if you can measure the control port and tell us if my 3.3V and pull down when the Delta-q works is the same with 2013 as 2012.

BTW the 2012 Delta-q use the second control pin as I can see different. I think the 2012 Delta-q has a relay inside that lead the Battery + to the second control port as long as the delta-q is not charging. If the Delta-q starts - the second control port will be off.
Take care if you try to use an old 2012 with addition supplies for 2013. You would shoot 116V into your MBB!!!

Yes I use 2 delta q, one for each battery. It just enabled with b- as control. Without it does not start charging.
