Mission is supposed to start delivering bikes sometime soon.  If anyone gets one, please post :)

No posts.  No activity.

Very quiet at Mission.

Have they responded to direct inquiry?

The last I heard for availability was summer 2014. It's summer now, at least for another month or so.

Well, based upon meeting their previous production goals in past years, Mission remains consistent.  ::)

It looks like Mission is expanding into other markets and sacrificing the delivery time on their motorcycles to do it. Delivery is now scheduled for Q2-Q3 next year. Check out their article on their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/missionmotorcyclesinc

Am I the only one to see this announcement as the end of Mission?

I don't think it is the end of Mission.  However, it may just be that Mission is getting "cold feet" regarding selling a production street-legal motorcycle and all of the costs, liability and other problems that go with selling a motor vehicle to the public.

Isn't this what the other, earlier Mission Motors did? Build a prototype bike, then switch to selling drivetrains? IIRC, this newer Mission Motorcycles split off from the other company because they wanted to sell bikes, but now they're also switching to selling drivetrains... Who's buying all these drivetrains?

If I understand correctly, they have rejoined forces with the original Mission and it is all one company again.  Please correct me if I am wrong.

Mission's business model and company history is so confusing to me that I am not going to correct anyone's statement about the company.   ::)
