Regen Braking kit for 2011 XU

Hi Guys

I'm looking at what I need to modify my XU with regen braking, here what I have so far.

here the motor contol we have now



Here's the new motor control



These are basic wiring diagams still sourcing out bike actual wiring schematics but we can see the extra switch pot for the brake control

here's a neat video of a system that works good for the brake control.



I've also attached the has a list and link to most of the parts required to make the modification.

Have you made the modification? It would be interesting to see what impact regenitive braking has.

Not Yet. Stay tuned to this tread I will post the progress. They say about 10% gain in range.

Found this Shunt 300 amp with digital meter if she reads Negative amp it will work perfect for the regen project.
