2013 Zero S/DS "tank" compartment review
« on: March 17, 2013, 02:10:26 AM »

I found it difficult to judge the size and usefulness of the storage compartment for the 2013 DS until I got it home and tried using it. I've uploaded some photos to Flickr which give some general idea.

In short, it's good for a water bottle, lunch, snacks, and so forth. It could fit a small tablet, probably up to the size of an iPad Mini and definitely any 7-inch tablet.

That kind of reminds me of the bathtub-like tray molded into the fake "tank" of the mid-2000 BMW F650 Scarver (a great bike that didn't sell well enough for BMW so they dumped it).

Zipped up and out of the bike it really looks like a little toilet with the lid down!
