a good idea, pity it doesnt say where and what price the motor/controller/batteries were obtained from. Also 6 SLA batterys and (from the look of it) heavy duty steel framing may mean a 1kw motor is not nearly enough for on road use. Be extremely lucky to do 35mph from a 1kw motor.

haha, was reading the visforvoltage thread thinking thats a pretty cool idea, but how fast does it go, read next post and turns out id done it all before Tongue 30mph is respectable, especailly from such a small motor at cheap build

Wow the gear box/dual motor plate looks cast. Might have to read a little more about this project. Not sure I agree with the chain routing, and if that motor mount is cast and looks to have gears why the external chain to link the two? Odd.
