Here is a review by Visor Down, which includes lots of interesting photos, of the new BMW C Evolution scooter.

I visited my BMW dealer yesterday and one of the salesmen told me that BMW planned to market their C evolution scooter next year.  If they don't upgrade the prototype's speed and range, they will have been left in the dust by Brammo and Zero before it ever hits the showroom floor.

While there, I checked out the two new BMW IC scooters, which sell for $10,700 for the Sport and $11,100 for the GT. Both are long, heavy and wide.  I think they weigh around 550 and 575 pounds, respectively.  That is a heavy scooter and I wouldn't be too surprised if the electric scooter is any lighter.

But the BMW is a scooter and the Brammo and Zero's are motorcycles.
I was lucky to test ride the C Evolution at Intermot this year and that thing is very fast. Although the top speed may be lower it easily beats your 2012 Zero S off the line! So for scooter performance its fine.

The BMW only has Vectrix as competition and some Chinese junk. So I think it will do very well!

So far I was always told early 2014 for the BMW to arrive. Maybe earlier in the US?
