Your 2011 DS and S controller are re-programmable !!
« on: April 28, 2012, 11:29:23 AM »

Since i am really familiar with ebike and e motorcycle controller programing, i decided to connect my laptop to my 2011 DS  using the  Controller PRO communication software ( the one that use the little serie RS-232 port) .. or also using the USB to 232 adapter to make it work.

I found that this controlelr CAN me reprogrammed !! ;)

so YES you can tune your zero performances a little bit ! ( might void the warranty so make it on your own risk!!)

You can download the software on the Alltrax website: http://www.alltraxinc.com/Products_ControllerPro.html

Even if you make erros and dont remind what was the original parameters, you can fid them here ( i recorded them from my new zero ds 2011 using the software)

Nice -- thanks for the research. The hacker in me is tempted to try it on my 2012 DS but the accountant in me says to wait until after the warranty is over... :)
