This picture is from Eurobike.  It is an EL Moto HR-2 series (if I read the logo's correctly).  Looks to borrow a lot from the bicycle world.

Hi Oliver, thank you for the information!

If you don't mind me asking, what is your role at ELMOTO?  Looking forward to the English version of the site.  I wish I knew German.  Cry

Any leads on US distributors at this point?  Any other models in the works, dirt or enduro maybe?

Cool looking bike!

Oh, and do you have any pics of the production version?  Please post / attach them if you can.

And finnaly, how do you distribute the amount of drive the front and back wheel contribute?  is it a constant 50/50 distribution?  Does it change based on any inputs?

Found some more pictures of the ELMOTO HR-2 from the Eurobike show.  Second pic shows it has dual rear shocks.  Seems like an unnecessary weight penalty and more to break.  Looks kinda cool though Cheesy

I don't mind Smiley I'm one of the founder and owner of ELMOTO. At this point of our business we are really interested to spread the news so everyone of us trys to spent some time following the links we see in our web statistics in the evening.

The US market isn't easy to manage from Europe so we are looking for a strong partner, but we have good talks with distributors...If we have something more concrete we will announce it on the website and within our newsletter. You will be able to subscribe it in English by end of the week.

The production version will have some minor changes like a smaller display, different lamp, optional mud guards... Major changes will be the battery system what is now lead acid and will be Lithium in the production series. Design will be the same as now.

Further versions like offroad versions with a warranty for offroad use are planned but will not be delivered within the next year.

The power is distributed different to the wheels by a patented system... Its a kind of ESP...but honestly just a kind Smiley

So far, thanks a lot for your interest and I would be glad if you subscribe to our newsletter (will be in English and German Smiley) so we can inform you when we know who will be a distributor/retailer in the states.

Kind Regards
Oliver

Anymore news on this bike?  Is the price that is quoted for the lead acid or the lipo version?  For the lipo version which is limited to 45kph, can it be easily modded to improve the speed to 60kph?
