Nice detailed 360 view video of the superbike. Maybe New Vectrix will make this one happen?

Whoa... got kinda dizzy after the sixth turn.  Pretty darn cool... styling cues from Mission One and Motoczysz?

Actually, I believe that concept bike predates both the Mission One and Motoczysz by a couple of years.

The ROBRADY design predates all of those noted programs. The Vectrix Electric Superbike program actually started at ROBRADY as an internal program called the rMOTO- launched to the web in 04.2005 http://rmoto.com/home.html. It is also featured on our main site http://www.robrady.com/vsb.html. Most of this work stems from our involvement as the design house for Vectrix for many (many) years. http://www.robrady.com/transportation.html

Thanks for the information ROBRADY. I did know that your company designed the bike. Did not know it was called the Rmoto before being Vectrix Superbike.

Did not know you did work for Buell too. Very cool.

The specs on the new bike are close to those of the old version. Vectrix says the bike will have a top speed of 125 mph. Twist the throttle all the way and you’ll hit that speed in as little as 12 seconds. For a high-powered bike, the Vectrix’s 124-mile range, aided by regenerative braking, is impressive. The bike plugs into any standard outlet and an 80 percent charge takes about 2.5 hours.

Vectrix said that they’d be accepting refundable deposits for a special limited production run of 200 to 500 Vectrix Super Bikes through July 2012. No pricing or delivery information has been released.
