Looks like that is the original name of the company that founder Ely ran...
A little research documents that an earlier attempt to take his motorcycle company and the Blade to the next level was under the name Denali. Apparently that was also his first shot at designing an electric motor scooter. It was a great idea but a little before its time as gas wasn't expensive enough for the American consumer to embrace the idea. Another case of a man who was ahead of his time.
