Title: 2016 DSR 13
Post by: labrat on February 06, 2018, 10:19:41 PM
I am seriously considering buying a demo 2016 DSR. I guess my main concern on the warranty being about gone would be the on board charger. Do the after market chargers work independent of the factory charger if there is a issue with it? Any other issues I should be concerned about? I would love to go with a 2018 14.4 but for the money this is a better fit right now. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can use after market chargers (like DigiNow Super Charger) if the onboard breaks. You just plug the after market charger into the Anderson connector above the motor.

2016's have a few quirks. The 4-way indicator circuit overloads when activating while any turn signal lamp is active. The belt is skinny and will wear so carry a spare always. The DS_R_ name makes it expensive to insure, anything with an R.
