I guess that would have to be 320 kilowatts (since 6 minutes is 1/10 of 60 minutes)

Some 25-30years ago sanyo made a NICD battery that could be charged in 3 minutes, due to low Internal resistance and really big surface/Ah providing ample cooling. They were 50mA/h could deliver 1amp without dying from heat buildup.
I used them for RC micro planes and micro RC cars.
Tough little buggers they were.

My guess is those were NiMH, not Ni-cad. NiMH is famous for being able to charge and discharge very quickly. My RAV4 hybrid uses them for that very reason. AGM lead-acid is very good that way, too, and among Li batteries, LiFePo4. Except for fairly low energy density (half of some other flavors of Li-ion), LiFePo4 is perhaps my favorite battery chemistry. It's cheap, extremely rugged, and very low internal resistance.

Well it was NICD, it was before NIMH batteries were marketed..

Kind of off-topic I'd talked to an EV DIY guy who told me about the flooded cell NiCd cells in his ride. There was a suggestion that some of the advancements for NiCd cell chemistry never got to see widespread use in the consumer space because of market and environmental forces. The NiMH cells were something of a step backwards for a while in technology but are cheaper to produce and less environmental concerns. LiIon power density has made NiCd battery tech a blip in the history of power storage.

They could Lithium Titanate Oxid Battery Cell , LTO [1], they can have 10C , evt Power sells thems since 2 years and I always considered 10kWh for a  to charge a Zero in 6 minutes on an 100kW Tesla charging station. A little more weight and size.

Wow. Zero to 80% in one minute (2.9AH cells) or 6 minutes (20AH cells). That's something.
