Title: Aftermarket Adjustable Foot Pegs
Post by: StealthFox on August 30, 2017, 12:59:23 PM
Hi! I'm way too tall for my '16 Zero FX in its stock configuration, but it's too much fun to give up just for that. So, among other things, I'm looking at moving the footpegs down and back. I have seen the post in the Unofficial Zero Manual about machining extenders - this would accomplish what I'd like, but not having a mill to play on, I'm looking at cheap Chinese knock-offs of the MFW Vario adjustable footpegs.

Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Multi-Step-Position-Adjustable-Foot-Pegs-FRONT-for-SUZUKI-V-STROM-1000-650-12-/291680385938?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Multi-Step-Position-Adjustable-Foot-Pegs-FRONT-for-SUZUKI-V-STROM-1000-650-12-/291680385938?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368)
There are a bunch of listings for the exact same item, and they fit a bunch of bikes.

I'm wondering: Has anyone tried these, or the MFW Varios? How much difference is there between motorcycle foot pegs, anyway? Are the FX footpegs known to be identical to anything?

I tried the fastway adjustable footpegs and could not make them fit.

I am using Ray's design footpegs adapters, and they work great. I can ask my machinist for the cost of another pair. Let me know.
