What is the trick to remove and re-install the seat? Has anybody come up with a way that works better than stock?
Both my Zero bikes (2017 DS & 2017SR) have the same issue. I own 8 motorcycles and six of them I can remove the seat in five seconds or less. The two Zeros can take me an hour just to get the seat off and on.
On both Zeros, I have the travel trunk installed that probably is making it a lot more difficult to get the two bolts out of the TT rack. Is there a fix or a trick so it doesn't take so long to remove and put back the seat?

This is the best way we know of for the stock seat: http://zeromanual.com/index.php/Unofficial_Service_Manual#Seat (http://zeromanual.com/index.php/Unofficial_Service_Manual#Seat)
And here are some modified ones that make it quicker and easier. http://zeromanual.com/index.php/Advanced_Modifications#Quick_Seat_Release (http://zeromanual.com/index.php/Advanced_Modifications#Quick_Seat_Release)

Thanks for passing on that great info! I now have my seat off and I refuse to put it back on the stock way! Your links gave me some great ideas, even if if I don't follow them exactly. Thanks again.
