Looks like AF1 Racing has full parts diagrams for many Zero models and can special order parts. For instance, I found that my charger that's being replaced on my 2015 FX under warranty would cost US$750 if I were to special order one.

Thanks for the manual! But where did you get the $$ from? Is this someplace on the website that I haven't yet found?

I noticed in the pdf that some of the locknuts being used are the prevailing torque locknuts with that nylon ring that keeps them locked.
I don't think I've seen it mentioned anywhere, but those should not be loosened and reinstalled multiple times .. You should use new nuts of the same type, and for sure after loosening them twice they shouldn't be reused at all.

Nice work, Shadow; basic web-scraping can be really handy. This should help owners ask for parts without confusion.

I suspect that AF1 will be asked to take a significant part of this down. So, try to learn what useful lessons can be gained here. I think I figured out a few documentation clarifications to make already, but as usual will need to confirm any leads here with owners of the relevant models because we can't rely on this being accurate, up to date, or being a permitted release.

In my recent experience having exact part numbers didn't help at all. I ordered some parts from the dealer. When I came in to pick them up I wanted to order more of the same parts. Searching for the part numbers in Zero's database or the part name from label did not find the correct part. Also, Zero seems to change part numbers frequently. Pretty worthless.
Cool to see the diagrams but I wouldn't count on this info helping to order parts from a Zero dealer.

Yes, that jibes with an experience or two of mine. I agree that we should consider this a rough/helpful guide at best.

Just take the part number from the Zero parts catalog and put in the search box at the top the AF1Racing main page.

Very few items show Inventory available... which I count as a good sign... this is dynamic and not a static listing.
