Are the Zero drop bars the only option?

What is your objective, to protect the frame and/or adding additional mounting points i.e. lighting or fairing?

I'll say this I dropped my bike over at low speed recently, and the contact points were the hand guards, the drop bars, the foot peg, and the lower part of the swing arm just under the rear axle nut, and the Givi 47L top case.

All of the above, sorta...

No faring but would be nice to mount a plastic or fabric piece to block the wind come Fall.

There's no known third-party drop bar manufacturer for Zeros yet. The drop bars are $250 but are very sturdy, at least, which is reasonable.

I've heard rumblings about fairings of various kinds (which would require brackets), but no one's ready to reveal anything for sale.

The FX drop bars aren't extremely strong. A no-speed tipover in grass bent one about 10 degrees.

There's a fine line between having a bar the absorbers the energy vs transmits it.
The bar should deform before the frame (not saying that's the case with the Zero bars).
