As of Sunday, Magen is in 1st and 2nd place with Sarolea in 3rd. Everyone else is way behind.

It's maddeningly hard to find a list of the TT Zero competitors. I remember someone here posting a list that included Lightning and Energica. They don't appear in the results so far.
-
Okay, just found the list in the other thread. Adam Child is the Energica rider, in 4th place.

The list in a FB photo:

Let's all hope the race goes ahead.
Conditions at the TT this year are filthy. Very high winds, fog and rain, a number of races have had to be moved so far.
A number of practices have been cancelled.
-
According to Mugen, the race is now scheduled for 16:25 tomorrow. (That's 10:25 am, Central)

It is a mystery to me where Lightning gets enough funding so that they can enter the IOM and do the other things that they do. ??? They sure are not making any money selling motorcycles. It must be a self-funded labor of love. ;)
-
Looks like Lightening failed to qualify. :(
-
No TT Zero today. Death on the course. :(

Racing has been abandoned today due to bad weather.
UoN has stated they need to leave to have time make it to Pikes Peak, so are unlikely to be racing.
UPDATE: UoN have decided to race first thing tommorow, though they have sent most of the race team on ahead.
After a meeting with the organisers this morning it was revealed the TT Zero race will be held tomorrow morning at 10:15.
The team are pleased to announce both bikes will be in the race tomorrow (Friday) and still make it to Pike's Peak.
Unfortunately most the team have to leave tonight, leaving just a skeleton crew to man our assault on the TT course.
Please come visit us today, there's no racing so our bikes our on display all day.
Man I wish I was over there, I'd dearly love to spend some time chatting with them.
-
Its been a real shame, the weather has really got the better of the TT this year.
Shame as a couple of weeks before the weather was glorious.

According to UON's Facebook page:
TT Update 2:

The team are pleased to announce both bikes will be in the race tomorrow (Friday) and still make it to Pike's Peak.

So, YAY!

Delay on the course, 1hr as the marshalls feel the roads are not dry enough yet.
No rain forecast, so fingers crossed.
TT Zero expected to start at midday UK time.
10 minutes to race start. Hope the transponders are working this year. :)

It is too bad that Lightning had to pull out. I would have liked to see if they had made any advances to their 218 model during the past 5 years.
-
And the Energica was way back of the real race bikes.

I figure this thread is a good excuse to drop this photo in. I have a bunch of actual IOM postage stamps, so I scanned them at high resolution and laminated them. So when I get sick of looking at Bill Ivy, I can drop in Mike Hailwood or Joey Dunlop or a Moto Guzzi V8, etc.
