So, for reference, we have this maintained table of brake pad compatibility by model and year:
http://zeromanual.com/index.php/Unofficial_Service_Manual#Brake_Pad_Fit (http://zeromanual.com/index.php/Unofficial_Service_Manual#Brake_Pad_Fit)

What kind of confirmation do you have here? Is it for your 2016FXS?

Did you identify these based on a catalog listing?

Which have been physically confirmed?

Thanks!

May be hard to see but I have taken the pads out of my bikes and laid them on top. Exact match, not sure about the DS as I don't have any way to compare. These photos were taken on my bench. I knew the EBCs were great pads but the catalog was all wrong. I did a lot of cross referencing off the SBS (makers of the stock pads) catalog. None of these were more than $30 shipped off eBay. The stock FXS fronts were 60 squids from the dealer with a discount! My FXS rear was dragging and sounded like a hamster wheel, it was driving me nuts! I removed the pads, pumped the piston out a little, cleaned, and put the EBCs in. Now it is perfect and has better "feel".

Great. But which exact pads did you put in your rear calipers? What were the stock pads labeled? Without exact match numbers, this is confusing to interpret.

Also, I'm assuming if it fits the SR, it'll fit the S?

It should, I think the calipers are the same. I updated the first post to clarify which pads are shown.

First, thanks for updating the post with the fitments. I hope you understand if I have to keep this information bracketed from what's listed right now, as we need more people confirming fits before making a firm declaration.

I have to admit, I'm getting tired of having dealers tell me the EBC catalog is right and then I wind up with squealing brake pads. My rides with my girlfriend just got embarrassing again because I have to reseat brakes. This is not a good look for an effectively silent motorcycle. If I can hear my turn signals click, the brake pads and calipers had better be mated properly.

I'm also getting tired of maintaining a manual for free that the OEM can't bring itself to support properly, by trying to interpret forum threads.

Okay, I'm done complaining. Thanks for the work!

Do you have the stock pads around? What labels do they have?

Okay, so I think I have all that integrated smoothly into the table, after crosschecking about 5 damn brake pad threads, brake catalog translators, and making sure to take first-hand fit reports over catalog entries:
http://zeromanual.com/index.php/Unofficial_Service_Manual#Brake_Pad_Fit (http://zeromanual.com/index.php/Unofficial_Service_Manual#Brake_Pad_Fit)

I think we had the FX rotors wrong, and that they are fixed vs floating and a different size. I also had FA185 listed as a rear brake which I can find no support for and must be one of those lovely bugs one can only get trying to edit a mediawiki table via code. We need a better editor tool.

Sorry for any confusion, I thought it was clearer but I also knew exactly what I was looking at! I'm going to post pics with descriptions to each.

First pic, SBS front for S,SR,FXS (probably DS, DSR) with anti rattle shim right from the dealer. These are SBS674HS, or EBC209HH in the aftermarket.

Second pic, close up of part numbers

Third pic, Zero part number on packaging

Brian, thanks for all your hard work on the Wiki, etc. I will update this as I learn more. My next move is to replace the rear fluid with ATE racing (higher boiling point) fluid. Then dial in the front with fluid, maybe a custom rotor or a Beringer master cylinder or???
