Hi there. I'm brand new to the forum, and my search on this didn't bring anything up. I'm looking to buy a zero soon; I have a 20 amp socket in my garage, and was wondering if I can use that to charge the bike?

The standard Zero charger works fine with a regular 15 amp socket, so a 20 amp will have no problem.

Should be no problem. Do you also happen to have 230V in your garage?

Nope, I had a horrible experience with a ZEV LRC 15 that has left me thousands short and with a 20 amp dedicated circuit. It'd be convenient to plug in there, though, when I've rolled that thing off a cliff.

20 amp is fine. LOTS of head room there. According to the Owner's Manual (which you can download from Zero's website for free) charging with the built-in charger will draw 12 amps. Not sure if you plan on buying the accessory quick chargers, though. Since I don't use them, I never bothered to look.
