Title: I bid you all a fond adieu.
Post by: Snafuperman on March 25, 2017, 04:36:37 AM
Well, I've decided not to get an electric bike at this time.  Maybe in a couple of years.  I want to thank those that answered my (sometimes stupid) questions.  I really like the Zero DSR -- that would be my choice.  I have three motorcycles still, and I don't want to part with any one of them . . . just yet.  I thought I would sell one, then I would have space for another bike.  But I like the three bikes too much to sell . . . for now.  But things change and possibly I shall return -- to bother you guys with more questions.

Ride safe!

Snafuperman,

you're always welcome here with your stupid questions... hahahah ;D

Good luck and we'll probably envy your 2018 or later model year when you are ready.

Good meeting you.

Thanks R7!

I do two final questions:  (1) What is the best oil?  Dino, semi-synth, or full-synth?  and (2) What are the torque values for the tire valve stem caps?

Everyone knows that the best oil is Shell Rotella, purchased from Kmart, and the torque value for a tire valve stem cap is just tight enough to keep the air from leaking out.   ;)

Yes on the valve stems.

Research on the oil question:
Everybody interested, read this and watch Timken bearing test machine videos on youtube.
It shows instead of claims.

I am using Royal Purple because of the additives.
