Title: 2016 Zero S seat bolt
Post by: JaimeC on February 28, 2017, 11:05:48 PM
I have been waiting almost three weeks for a replacement seat bolt for my 2016 Zero S.  Apparently it loosened up and fell out and the seat is currently only held in place by the one remaining bolt.  Does anyone know if there is an equivalent Wurth bolt that I might be able to get instead?  This is friggin' RIDICULOUS!!!

The wiki describes the seat bolts adequately for a hardware store replacement:

"M8 with 1.25mm thread, 50mm long with a round end for aligning the seat bracket with the frame"

The other alternative is to remove the remaining bolt and take it down to the hardware store and see if they can match it...

I went to Ace Hardware and got replacements, they fit perfectly. Had to visit two stores though as one of the stores didn't have 50mm bolts in stock.
