Title: 2013 DS issues.
Post by: NEW2elec on November 22, 2016, 09:16:21 AM
So I heard my full charge click clak was a bit different.  Instead of one steady pattern I heard like three different click claks with different timing.  It seems to have charged it up but not normal sounds bother me.

Then the real fun.  I bent down to see how my front brake pads were doing.  Ok about time to change out.  Lets look at the fluid reservoir.  I can't see a bubble.  I can't take out the screws.
I look at the caliper, covered in oil.
Is it from the brake line or the bottom of the fork.  Maybe both.

I found this old thread which makes me think fork.  I'll try to get a better screw driver to take off the brake cover tomorrow.

Well it's not the brake line so it's fork oil leaking.
It's leaking from the very bottom at the wheel bracket not the upper O seal.
I'll try to play with it a little but will go in after the holiday maybe.
The off rhythm multi click clacks are still a bit concerning, I hope one of the four charges isn't going out.

Well the click clack has fixed itself and with the help of a cheap strap wrench I twisted the fork back up tight so no more leak.

Thanks to myself and all my help.

I'm glad you got that sorted! Sometimes it feels tricky to pitch advice over the internet for a problem that could be critical.
