Title: 2007 Vectrix VX-1 For Sale
Post by: lavectrix on October 14, 2015, 02:03:25 AM
Selling my 2007 Vectrix VX-1.  It's in pristine condition, but I just started getting the battery temperature warning light after about 15 miles.  Scooter still runs, but power is diminished somewhat when light is on.  Charges as normal.  I've been told that it sounds like one of the cells has died and is overheating.  Someone who knows the technology could probably fix or find a workaround.  Or this could be a great foundation for a project bike.  I'll let it go cheap...

Mine's probably for sale as well. San Francisco. Had an overheating problem when I first got it, but I found out the previous owner had left the fans under the seat disconnected. Does have an occasional encoder error, but seems to run OK regardless, for like 20 miles or so. A good candidate for the Nissan Leaf lithium upgrade, I would think. Was planning on doing that myself, until the Zero Early Adopter rebate program showed up and now I have a zero SR that I'm having too much fun with. I'm guessing lavectrix is in LA?

Hello there,  (to lavectrix) what part of the country are you located in?  I'm in Michigan but if you're E of the Rockies or if I can afford it what with the shipping costs(~$1000, UShip) I'd be quite interested.  I enjoy mine but not enough time to do anything but unbolt/bolt parts.  No rework efforts.  (Starting a small business.)
Regards, Cosmictech

Craigslist has vectrixes (vectrices?) for sale in Modesto and San Francisco.
