Post by: Patrick Truchon on March 31, 2015, 03:40:06 PM
I just finished a blog post describing my experience with my Zero.  http://ptruchon.pagekite.me/wiki/blog/2015-03-30/electric-zero-motorcycle (http://ptruchon.pagekite.me/wiki/blog/2015-03-30/electric-zero-motorcycle)  I talk about:

Next on my list is to buy a fast charger from Hollywood Electrics before the summer.  ElectricCowboy has kindly given us more information about how he put his under then tank: http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=4227.msg27006 (http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=4227.msg27006)  If it's something I can manage, I'll go for it...

Whoa - I'd be interested in the details on how you did your USB charger install. That is 1000x cleaner looking than mine.

Good blog post, thanks for sharing!
Thanks.  It took me a while to find these resources when I was looking to buy the bike, so I thought I'd share what I've learned so far and try to inspire others to go electric.

Thanks.  The original thread I followed was http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=3427.0 (http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=3427.0)  I just added a section on my blog post that gives more details regarding the UBS charger (and other modifications I made).  http://ptruchon.pagekite.me/wiki/blog/2015-03-30/electric-zero-motorcycle (http://ptruchon.pagekite.me/wiki/blog/2015-03-30/electric-zero-motorcycle)

Cheers!
